Leasehold Reform Update in 2005
There is a huge potential demand from landlords and leaseholders for up-to-date advice on residential leases. The law has been massively changed by the reforms made by Part 2 of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 many of which come into force in 2005. There is also the large number of court and tribunal decisions to examine. This course examines all of the changes form leasehold enfranchisement to service charges and other aspects of leasehold management. Case studies are used in the presentation.
James Driscoll has very extensive experience in advising on residential leasehold issues. He has written extensively on leasehold issues and is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on the subject for solicitors, surveyors, managing agents, housing managers and other housing and property professionals. He has made a close study of the leasehold measures in the 2002 Act.
